Power Lines and Birds

What can I say? Everytime I see an image with a power line and a bird I am drawn in. And this haunting soulful piece by Irish artist Bridget Farmer is just that. The technique used is dry point etching which is time consuming and costly; explaining the high price of this print. Well worth it for this limited edition print. Brunswick Bird who are you and why are you alone?
Check out this artists other flying creatures. Makes me want to hop a plane to the Emerald Isle right about now.
Oh you have to see this! She wrote a book about goats. Love it! An artist with clever wit and a love of farm animals.
