ACEO Today

An Apple A Day is an original one of a kind ACEO card. It's a collage that features an apple, a layer of Asian inspired hand made paper, and three small dots collaged into the bottom half. The dots are from a map which I always enjoy adding to my work. It's varnished for a glossy finish. As usual please feel free to visit my Etsy site for this ACEO and other art.

Have a great week!

ACEO for today

here's a one of a kind ACEO I designed last weekend. Instead of doing digital work in Photoshop I created an original collage so this piece is a steal at $6.99 on Etsy. She's The Little Miss.

Fun new shop in San Francisco

I try to only add new art to my posts but then I found out about this shop on Valencia Street in San Francisco this morning on Daily Candy and it looked like so much fun I wanted to share it with my readers. Here's what the new owners have to say: The Curiosity Shoppe is owned and operated by Lauren Smith and Derek Fagerstrom. We left our super fun, kinda crazy lives in New York City and came home to the San Francisco Bay Area to start up the Shoppe for the simple reason that we are obsessed with beautiful things. We're thrilled to be sharing the objects and ideas that delight and inspire us with as many people as possible. Whether it's a favorite art book, a vintage find, a carefully hand-crafted piece of jewelry or a one-of-a-kind painting, we guarantee everything you'll find in the Shoppe is special. The person who dreamed it up gave it their creative all, and we love them for it. Curiosity shoppe

Don't you just love this return to arts and crafts!

a New Look at Landscape

Here's an unusual landscape...View From a Parking Lot on the 38th Floor. It's a print and the original should be available in about a month or so. After I finished this I came up with the title. It looks like one of those strange city views one gets when you are staying at a hotel in New York City and it's really tall and looks down on a bunch of rooftops.
